You can’t beat this easy weeknight pasta recipe. All you need is four ingredients to make a delicious meal the family will love!
Sometimes you want a great dinner but don’t have the time or energy to make something elaborate. For those nights, I bring you this very easy weeknight pasta recipe. Four ingredients make for a savory, delicious meal. The secret is using sausage instead of plain ground beef or turkey and vodka tomato sauce. Since those shortcut ingredients are both full of flavor, they make this dish taste more special than plain old spaghetti with meat sauce (even though it’s just as easy to make).
Bring stockpot of salted water to a boil. (Cover pot to speed up the process.)
While water heats, spray a deep 12″ skillet with cooking spray, and heat over medium-high heat. Add sausage, and brown and crumble meat. When meat is almost done, add mushrooms. Saute until meat is cooked through. Drain, and return to pan.
Stir in pasta sauce. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer until pasta is ready.
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and gently stir noodles into sauce until evenly coated.
This is actually two recipes, but they go so well together that I didn't want to split up the pair. Load your tortilla chips with seasoned beef and creamy cheese sauce, then watch them disappear!
